ARTHUR
Fashion photographer with a special talent for beauty and accessory. Spontaneous and light, he's also the realistic voice of the bunch. He tends to forget he's not 20 anymore, but that's part of his charms. Addicted to baguette and saucisson.

ZOE (8)
Aspiring skaterboarder, gymnast, pianist and mad scientist. Zoe loves to mix reality and fiction in her stories - and make them all sounds like science. She's a little shy at times, but it's mostly to assess a situation before jumping in. She has a heart of gold.
STELLA (6)
Stella is a free spirit and a honey badger. Her creativity for mischief is limitless.
She is the sweetest and the toughest little thing that ever existed. She's had more principal's office than dr's visits in pre-K and in K... She's our rockstar.
JULIETTE
Atypical creative director in fashion and home, with a heavy dose of strategy.
Natural problem solver and planner, she's a good one to have on the team! Always thinking of the next idea, she has a lot to learn on the relaxing department.

SO, WHY?
We needed a change of scenery, a change of pace. We loved our life in New York, our home, our neighborhood, the school, our friends, our carreers... But it was starting to feel as though time was passing us by. Our girls are growing up too fast and we're busy all the time, we're caught in the hamster wheel, a beautiful, amazing hamster wheel, but still a hamster wheel and we needed to get out. Peace, connection, calm, time... Does that sound familiar?
NO BUT REALLY, WHY?
If you have been to New York, or if you have lived there, you understand that it is't an easy city to leave. We've lived here 20 years, we're both from Paris originally, we speak French at home, but our girls speak English back to us (which not one but us find perfectly normal). We wanted to give our girls more than a French Passport and turn them into little parisians, but going there cold turkey felt slightly terrifying. Going there through 16 coutries felt much more reasonable if that makes sense.
OH SO THAT'S A SABATICAL...
Well, not exactly. If you know Juliette, it's just not an option so there's a plan - a few actually. Wherever we go, we try to connect with local organization and see if we can help with their brand or marketing strategy before we get there, and with their visual content. We will also volunteer in a few places. We also have a book project planned that you migh see unfold on instagram... We're working on some very interesting collaborations too, shhh.
Arthur and Juliette go way back...
They first fell in love in Paris, they were barely 15. Arthur was the coolest kid in the school (really) and Juliette was the prettiest (according to Arthur). But then they lost touch, Juliette went to high school and Arthur jumped straight into photography.
Arthur was 17 when he started at Daylight studio as an intern, he quickly made his mark and worked with and assisted the biggest photographers at the time Mario Testino, Enrique Badulescu, Jean-Baptiste Mondino, Jean-Paul Goude. As Robert Erdmann's first assistant he traveled the world and landed in New York where he decided to stay. It wasn't long before his carreer as a fashion photographer took off.
Juliette was drawn to both science and visual arts, and went on to study Mechanical Engineering while taking evening design classes, exploring photography on the side and working in half of the interior design stores in Paris - building her "toolbox". After getting her college degree, she felt Paris wasn't the right place to make it all happen, so she decided to move to New York. A lot of chance, determination and hard work later (long story), she became an art director.
And that's when... Facebook happened.
Felix, a friend of Arthur's had just convinced him to join. He thought the purpose of Facebook was to reconnect with people from the past (social media was a very foreign concept at the time) - and the first name he typed, was Juliette's. To his surprise, he saw she was in New York as well. Wait what? Exactly.
They decided to meet 2 days later for coffee (no risk), in Union Square by the patato peeler sales guy (who died a few years ago), right after Juliette's African Dance class (low key). They went for coffee, walked to Arthur's place and talked until night. In 5 hours, they had caught up on the 19 years apart. It was easy, it was natural... So much so that they saw each other the next day. And 2 days later (On October 7th, 2007) , they were together again. "He immediately felt like family" says Juliette. They met on so many levels, it was just innevitable.
Together they kept growing, inspiring and supporting each other.
Zoe was born in 2010, Stella in 2012, they got married in New York on July 7th 2017 and now they are embarking in this adventure. Most people might have done the same in the reverse order, but they're OK being a little bit backwards...
